Parenting is meant to be the greatest and most joyful experience of your life. Through Natural order and design we have been created to produce, nurture and unconditionally love our children…it is the most natural thing in the world.

  • It is not supposed to be filled with tension, anxiety and fear.
  • It is not supposed to threaten the stability of your home life.
  • It is not supposed to cause you an overload of stress.
  • It is not supposed to wreak havoc on all other areas of your life.

That is not to say that your journey as a parent will be without challenges. In fact, this is another part of the divine design. Our lives, especially our growing up years are to provide us with opportunities and lessons to help us grow and develop into productive members of society. And in turn contribute to and serve the well being of all. Sometimes these lessons and growth opportunities comes through hurdles and bumps in the road. Understanding your intended role in your child's life, being equipped with the proper tools in order to guide them over these bumps will be the difference between a positive parenting journey and a negative one.

For the most part, parents take their role in their children's lives very seriously. Our unconditional love motivates us to do everything we possibly know to do to provide our children with the absolute best life has to offer. With that being said, we must ask ourselves why today's children, some as early as elementary age, are experiencing such negativity in their lives. Drugs, sex and violence to name a few.

Why, with all we are doing for our children, are statistics showing that the use of anti-depressants is at an all time high among children? Why is the rate of teen suicides on the rise? And why do our schools need to have full time security officers on campus? As dedicated and committed we are as parents, we all know deep in our hearts that something is missing…more info.

Sadie Foster Clove oil for teething was my first exposure to oils – it worked so well for my little ones. Especially since I didn't want to use the store bought brands because of food allergies. I tell people to be sure to try it in their own mouths first so that they understand what their baby will experience and can test the strength. Looking forward to trying the Lavender for bug bites.

 
Simone Parker I am a teacher and world traveler. I never go ANYWHERE without my oils in a little baggie and cotton balls for a handy applicator. I have used my oils on an airplane crossing the Pacific Ocean to calm an upset baby (Lavender won me some applause and handshakes on that trip!) I am terribly afraid of heights and at the top of the Eiffel Tower, Peace & Calming gave me the courage to get OFF that thing without killing my husband (this is actually a very funny story).
 
I have used Purification on mosquito bites to stop the itching in the Dominican Republic (those aren't really mosquitoes but blood sucking bats! – another fun story) I drop of peppermint in water will settle an upset tummy – used with a lot of my students so I didn't have to send them to the nurse. Peppermint is also a stimulant and I use a cotton ball to allow the kids to rub a little of the oil on their wrist so they can keep themselves alert during their LONG tests.

I had a student who had come in with a farm injury and had read that lavender has helped to reduce the swelling and minimize bruising. We used the Pan Away and Lavender every 2 hours for a school day with amazing results. I use my Pan Away for everyday aches/pains/headaches. And I CAN NOT say more wonderful things about Dragon Time… This is a life saver with my young women in my class. It’s too cool to use because when you need it, Dragon Time smells WONDERFUL, but when you do not… well the smell is not that attractive… Being a chemist and a chemistry teacher, using these oils and using holistically is a joy and wonderful way to teach about organic chemistry and where the medicines we use today actually come from.

This morning my stomach was hurting so after I took care of my co-worker (treating the mosquito bites with Purification) I looked up what to use on my tummy. I found that peppermint oil in water was good. I usually drink this anyway during the day but hadn't yet today. So I had a glass of water with 2 drops of Peppermint essential oil and a while later no more pain. Very happy since I wasn't sure I was going to be able to stay at work it was so bad!
 
Amity Hook-Sopko At 5 am my 5 yo wakes up saying his ear was hurting on the inside. I used Melrose, Immupower and Purification on him a few times. 7 a.m. he wakes up again, and I ask, "How's your ear?" He rolled over and said, "It doesn't hurt."
 
 
 
 
 
Angela Brooks My 15 year old son who loves to eat – and he loves to eat lots chocolates – came to me with his face broke out in a mess. He said "Mom look in your oil book and see what I can use on my face". He tried Lemon Oil. He rubbed it straight onto his skin with out any diluting and woke up the next morning with most of the blemishes gone!
 
After two days he has clear skin. Needless to say he keeps that oil in his bathroom now.I had to smile when he was packing for a baseball tournament in Disney with his oil in his hand and ask if he could take that with him just in case. It is not expensive and the results are fast.
