Young Living Peppermint Oil
(Therapeutic Grade)
Peppermint (Mentha piperita) has a strong, clean, fresh, minty aroma. One of the oldest and most highly regarded herbs for soothing digestion, it may also restore digestive efficiency.* Indigestion- In 1990 my doctor started me on Zantac. Then in 2001 I was switched to Prilosec. After I became a member of Young Living I wanted off all my meds! I put 1 drop of Peppermint on my hand and licked it. Before I even had a chance to swallow my indigestion was gone. I threw away the rest of the meds! I was amazed and still to this day I always carry the peppermint with me. When I have offered it to others it worked just as well and fast for them as it did me.~ Dawn Beyrle-Child
Nausea- Instant relief. It also awakens clear thinking and late afternoon strength.~ Peggy O'Neill Curkov
Stomach upset- My husband woke up complaining of a stomach-ache. I offered him some Peppermint oil but he refused saying he would be fine. (He’s one of those guys that never gets sick) After a couple of hours suffering and realizing he wasn’t able to eat or drink anything I asked again about trying Peppermint. He really didn’t say no so I quickly rubbed some on his stomach (about 2 drops). With in just a few minutes I noticed he had perked up a bit. I asked him how his stomach was and he just grinned saying I think I’ll cook some eggs for breakfast! ~ Susan Clark
Headaches - I keep my peppermint on me at all times for headaches, etc… I was at a Parents meeting for school and one of the girls next to me was complaining she had a headache and no one had any Advil. I offered her the peppermint and explained to put it on her brain stem and at her temples. She did and within a few minutes she looked at me wide-eyed, and said, It worked!!! ~ Dawn Shafer Wilkerson
Fever- A Monday morning at 3:30am, my daughter 10 years old woke up with a 103.4 degree fever. I was out of all children meds and she couldn't take pills at the time. All stores close to us were closed unless I drove 40 minutes away. I remembered hearing that peppermint helps with fevers but didn't know how to use it. I got on the internet and found it, put a drop on the bottom of her feet! Ok – that is easy enough. I did it and we read a book and watched an episode of her favorite show. I rechecked it at 4:30 and woohoo! 99 degrees. I checked again at 6am and 98 something… We were in business! I reapplied at 12 noon just to make me feel better but fever didn't come back! ~ Dawn Shafer Wilkerson
Energy- My favorite thing to do with Peppermint is mix it with Joy blend for a morning lift. Definitely raises the energy level and improves the mood. I call it EnJoyMint.~ Vicki Willoughby
Croup- The baby gets the croup as she is asthmatic. I gave her Young Living Peppermint oil and she is doing well! Normally because of the asthma we would have taken her to the hospital! ~Carol Hazeldine
